Robert Darilek has primary responsibility for the audit division of the firm. This includes the oversight of planning and controlling audits, reviewing audit results and conclusions, and directing the presentation of the report to management and those charged with governance.
Mr. Darilek has over thirty years auditing and accounting experience with Darilek, Butler & Associates, PLLC, an international accounting firm, and a local private corporation. Much of Mr. Darilek's auditing career involves working with commercial entities as well as governmental and not-for-profit organizations and federally-funded agencies. Mr. Darilek is a member of the AICPA and the TSCPA.
Steven Butler has primary responsibility in the taxation and business planning division of the firm. This includes managing all tax preparers, reviewing tax returns, and overseeing all bookkeeping staff on behalf of the client. Mr. Butler is in high demand for his business planning expertise and consultations for financial planning.
He has extensive experience in areas of taxation, business consultation, business formation, mergers and acquisitions over the last 30 years. Mr. Butler has testified in numerous litigations as an expert witness on valuations and other areas. He had is own accounting firm for many years, and before that, worked for an international accounting firm. Mr. Butler & Mr. Darilek have been partnered for over twenty years in Darilek, Butler & Associates, PLLC. Mr. Butler is a member of the AICPA and the TSCPA.
Darenda Klentzman is responsible for taxation and business planning, as well as oversight of the bookkeeping staff and tax preparers. She supports our clients with their Quickbooks and Peachtree usage, and prepares Medicare Cost Reports for Federally Qualified Health Centers. Ms. Klentzman is an integral part of managing the work of the entire staff on many different levels as a result of her extensive and broad experience in accounting.
Ms. Klentzman has over eighteen years experience in public accounting, including experience with nonprofit and governmental organizations. She has been with Darilek, Butler & Associates since 1994. She is a member of the AICPA and the TSCPA.
David R. Richmond, C.P.A., Senior Accountant
David is responsible for preliminary tax preparation as well as bookkeeping services for several diverse client organizations. He is a registered tax preparer with the IRS and has over twenty years of accounting experience. He is a member of the AICPA and the TSCPA. David has a BBA in Accounting from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
Denisse Chamut, Staff Accountant
Ms. Denisse Chamut has over three years of experience in public accounting and has shown great expertise in the firm assisting various clients with their accounting needs on a weekly, monthly, quarterly or yearly basis. She is proficient in utilizing QuickBooks & CSA, and is especially skilled in areas of payroll tax, sales tax, and other state and federal taxes. Ms. Chamut’s is friendly, compassionate, and bilingual English-Spanish. Her education is well-rounded and includes several years of Hispanic background; she graduated magna cum laude in 2011 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Texas A&M University, College Station.
Virginia Stark, Staff Accountant
Virginia has over 30 years of experience in public accounting. Her primary role is to provide bookkeeping and payroll services to many of our diverse clients, which include the responsibilities of bank reconciliations, financial statement preparation and initial tax return preparation. She enjoys working with new business startups as well as our established clients. Virginia is a member of Women in Business, The Network Society, and is a new volunteer with The SA Rodeo Committee.
Israel R. Rodriguez is responsible for assisting the audit supervisor with administration and review of the audit staff, as well as coordinating fieldwork.
Israel has over four years experience in public accounting, mainly consisting of performing audits for public and non-public companies, as well as nonprofit organizations. Mr. Rodriguez is a CPA candidate and has a BS in Mathematics and an MS in Accounting from Texas State University.
Elizabeth M. Hunt, C.F.E., C.G.A.P,, Senior Audit Staff Member
Elizabeth M. Hunt-Packer is responsible for assisting the audit managers with supervision, as well as the coordination fieldwork.
Elizabeth has over seven years of accounting experience including, but not limited to benefit plan, construction, governmental, non-profit, and oil & gas industries. She is a CPA candidate, a Certified Governmental Accounting Professional, and Certified Fraud Examiner.
She has a BBA in Accounting and Finance from the University of Texas at San Antonio and is a member of the AICPA, TSCPA, ACFE, and IIA.
Roberto C. Marquez, Audit Staff Member
Roberto C. Marquez is responsible for assisting the senior audit staff members with general and fieldwork support. He has over one year of accounting experience, mainly consisting of audits and reviews for public, non-public, and governmental entities. Mr. Marquez has a BBA in Finance from the University of Texas at San Antonio and an MBA from the University of Phoenix.
Carolina Camacho, CPA, CIA, Audit Staff Member
Carolina Camacho is responsible for conducting fieldwork to our diverse client base. She has a BS in Accounting from California State University, Long Beach. Carolina has over 19 years of accounting experience including, but not limited to, business and individual income tax preparation, payroll preparation and audit representation with governmental entities. Carolina is a certified public accountant and certified internal auditor. She was previously a board member of the California Society of CPAs for 5 years and various non-profit organizations. She is currently a member of the AICPA , TSCPA, and the IIA.
Sharon Dallal has over ten years experience in Customer Service
Satisfaction and three years experience in Accounts Payable and
Collections. Mrs. Dallal's primary role to the firm is to provide
client support for any billing questions or concerns. In addition to
client support, Mrs. Dallal handles all office and firm related needs
and notary services.
Audra De Leon, Administrative Assistant
Audra De Leon has over ten years of experience in Customer Service and seven years of front office experience. Ms. De Leon's primary role to the firm is to attain 100% client satisfaction by ensuring their clerical needs are met; her responsibilities including assembling and copying tax returns, answering phones, greeting clients, and typing correspondence. She is also responsible for providing clerical support to our management and staff members, as well as providing accounts payable assistance to the office manager.
